Order and Delivery Service

When ordering and delivering dialysis products Baxter Customer Service works closely with your dialysis centre and you, both for your first delivery and for your regular supply deliveries.

What is special about my first order?

Your dialysis centre will determine your initial order based on your doctor's treatment prescription.  Your initial order may include the following materials:

  • 30-60 boxes with a weight of approx. 12.5 kg each and dimensions of 29x47x17 cm (WxDxH)
  • APD Cycler Homechoice Claria with modem (if applicable)
  • Table
  • Bag scale
  • Accessories such as MiniCaps and tubing system, as well as dressing and disinfection material

Monthly Order

  • Each month you place your supply order at your dialysis centre.
  • In your delivery calendar you can see when you have to place your order and when you will be delivered.
  • Below we show you how to determine your order quantity in 4 simple steps.
  • Place your order at your dialysis centre no later than the order date on your delivery calendar.
  • One day before delivery you will be informed by our carrier about the estimated delivery time.

What do the symbols on my calendar mean?

The clock or telephone symbol indicates the date when you must place your monthly order to your dialysis centre at the latest.

The lock Symbol indicates the date on which it is no longer possible to make changes to the order.

The house or smiley symbol  indicates the date when you will receive your delivery.

How to calculate order quantities?

It only takes 4 simple steps to calculate the order quantities you need. Below we give you an example:

• Talk to your Renal Team before making any travel plans

• Arrangements for shipments of your dialysis supplies can be made according to your travel plans

Storing boxes

Storing supplies

Please store your dialysis supplies as follows:

• In the same box that they arrived in

• At room temperature

• Avoid extreme hot or cold (do not store beside your furnace)

• Out of direct sunlight

• In a clean and sanitary area

• Avoid insect or bug infestation

• Avoid spilling liquid on the cases or getting them wet

• Avoid animal contact

Waste disposal

Disposal of supplies

The following instructions will help you with disposal:

• Packaging boxes will be collected by the carrier upon your monthly delivery.

• Dispose of all outer packaging of the products in the yellow bag, yellow bin or recycling.

• The empty double bag system, MiniCaps, CyclerSets etc. go with the residual waste.

If you have questions regarding your waste materials, contact your nurse.
